This is a picture I took of the "Great Wall of China" at The Mock Turtle tea shop in Brighton, England.
What is it about blue and white - and especially the Willow pattern - that just seems to scream 'tearoom' ?
I love blue and white china.
Two big birds flying high
a little ship, passing by
three men standing on the shore,
a willow tree hanging o'er
an idle temple, there it stands
it wasn't built without hands,
an orange tree with oranges on,
and iron railings right along.
