Storing tea

Quality black teas can last up to two years in a vacuum pack or tin/canister if you know when they were harvested. If not, store six months to one year. And remember, the five enemies of tea are humidity, air, light, moisture, and odor.

Good advice and that reminds me that I must clean out my tea cabinet. There are probably a couple way in the back that have gone past the one year mark. ;=)

Nice canister! Totally agree with advise, but so easy to let time slip by and haven't drank a tea that should have been been sipped long ago. Some do ok with aging and some don't. I always taste before I toss in the garden and sometimes I am surprised.
