Tea Illustration Sunday



This is an example of anthropomorphism, the portrayal of animals acting like humans.

The piece, by Australian artist Elise Hurst, is called The Hot Chocolate - but of course it is obvious that Flopsy here is enjoying a cup of tea in a tearoom after a particularly hare-raising event by one of those six children of hers.

Love it. Has a Beatrix Potter feel about it. Adorable. I did not realise I was a fan of anthropomorphism.
