AN UPDATE FROM DENISE

As many of you know, I stopped writing this blog a couple of years ago. A lot has happened since then - most notably, we moved to England!

I am elated to let you know that I am creating a new blog about tea in England: my English tea discoveries and experiences.  Once everything is up and running, you'll be the first to know.

Watch this space!!

Further update - June 10, 2012:

In addition to the new blog mentioned above,
I have also decided to revive this one - Uniquely Tea!!!

Don't forget to bookmark me or subscribe
so you won't miss a single post!

Thanks - and see you soon!

Yes, I;ve kept following you all this time and was delighted to see a new post from you and now a new blog? OK, I'm jealous you are in England, where I should be, but will follow you from here in Colorado--just don't make me toooo homesick for tea and cakes and all that stuff we don;t do here. :)

Welcome back.

Awww, MMm, thank you so much, and yes, a new blog is afoot. It will probably having something to do with tea. LOL

I couldn't find a search function on your blog ... surely you must have some tea collages on there? Would love to see them. (Some nice tea images in today's pic.)

Cheers,

Denise

How exciting to have you back among us here in blogland. I wish you all the best. All the contacts we make here are just so much fun. Love, love the transferware in your header. I haven't seen that pattern yet, but collecting transferware teacups. I will be watching now for this one when I am out and about. Enjoy your adventure!

Thank you Phyllis and Marilyn. The dishes above are by Spode; the pattern is Byron (as in the poet). I had been wanting a tea set for when neighbours visit and saw this pattern on eBay. Over time, we've purchased enough pieces for a tea set - but there are still some pieces I need. (That's why I'm using an egg cup as a sugar bowl! LOL) But the search is half the fun, isn't it?

I was so happy to see that you have revived this blog! I'm glad your life has settled down enough for you to do that again. I missed the daily updates here, but am happy to be able to "visit" England vicariously through your posts and pictures here. Best wishes for your new blog too!
