Doris Alderman celebrated her 90th birthday last year with a cup of tea - at her workplace.
She said: "I've been working here for 25 years and I'm not giving it up, not while I can still keep working and doing my job.
"Working keeps me young, it keeps me going. "But most of all I enjoy working here each day as the girls in the office and the men are great.
"I couldn't live without the people here; they are such a big part of my life.
"And they make me feel that I am one of them, too."
Doris began working when she left school more than 70 years ago. She did various jobs as she raised her three sons.
But 25 years ago, when many of her contemporaries were set on retirement, Doris got a cleaning job at a local manufacturing plant.
When one of the staff went off for three months, Doris was asked to be the tea lady, a job she has kept to this day.
"It's fun and games all week," said Doris. "It really is a great place to work.
"They pick me up in the morning and they always see that I am safe getting home when I finish.
"My family think it's great I still work. They say that if I'm happy then they are happy too.
"They know it keeps me young."
