Winter Tea at Brookgreen Gardens

Brookgreen Gardens (Hwy 17 South between Murrells Inlet and Pawleys Island, South Carolina) is a National Historic Landmark with the most significant collection of figurative sculpture, in an outdoor setting, by American artists in the world. It was the first public sculpture garden in America.

The 9,200 acres that comprise Brookgreen Gardens is a mix of forested swamps, salt marsh, sandy ridges, fresh tidal swamps ~ and sculpture. Lots of it. (More than 1,200 works by 350 sculptors.)

Since February seems to be turning into a tearoom-themed month here at Uniquely Tea, it's the perfect time to tell you about Brookgreen's "Warm Up With Winter Teas". Held on Saturdays and Sundays at 3:30pm during the month of February only, a sampling of teas, scones, and other sweet and savory treats will be served in Brookgreen's Pavilion Restaurant. Ring 843-235-6016 for menus and prices. Reservations are required. And I want to go!
