I just discovered this book (published just a short four months ago) while doing some tea research on the internet. Sounds like a great read, and the author - in her eighties! - sounds like a fascinating, fiesty woman!
From Amazon:
The author takes her almost 90 years of experience from being raised in England and her research to entertain you with amusing personal stories as well as bringing out inspirational applications. This book takes an informative look at the history of tea from when it was first discovered in China up to the present time. Little known facts about tea are brought to life as the author takes you from the hospital bed to the depths of the coal mine showing that tea is everywhere.

Very cool!
Great find!
This sounds great! Thanks for sharing!
This one is on my wish list and it's likely I'm going to buy it. That's because it's a little more advanced than a tea basics book. There are many of those, and they have their place. But I need this kind of in-depth look with a fresh perspective. I look forward to reading it. --Spirituality of Tea
I hope it "delivers", for I have not yet read it.
