Tea Facial

It is soooooooo hot here in Charleston! My poor pores need some relief!

1 chamomile and 1 peppermint teabag
3 cups boiling water

Place tea bags in a large bowl, add boiling water and cool for 2 minutes. Place a clean towel over your head and bowl. Keeping your face at least 8 inches above the water, steam for 10 minutes.

Good idea on a hot day. I wish you would share just a little of that heat. It is cold and rainy here.

I have done this before with thyme. It is very good for your skin. Especially if you are prone to breakouts. I think I will try your recipe with a pinch of thyme added in!

Oh, this is too funny. I have this to drink every night before bed! The chamomile to sleep, the peppermint for digestion!! LOL!
It does sound refreshing for the face though.

Oh! interesting a friend of mine told me about the tea facial about a year ago and I have been using it since. I do add some mint and lavender to the mix at times.

Stay cool!!
