I'm not very good at crafTEA things, but this one looks easy enough. A quick walk through your local secondhand shop should serve up everything you need to make this clever birdfeeder. The age old question, however, still remains: How do you keep the squirrels away???

Very clever! Im afraid the squirrels would love it too. Perhaps there is something that could be done with a pole? Very cute idea! Ive seen something vaguely similar for a summer evening garden party, where the tea cups held candles. Especially pretty if the cups have a rim of gold.
Truer words have not been spoken. My squirrels would be in there in a flash and the bird seed would be gone. Very cute idea though!
Ohhhhhh! I LOVE this! I'm printing this out to send to a girlfriend right now. She will have one installed within 24 hours of reading this ...
How totally fun is this!
How adorable is that? Some people are so clever.
Around here the cups would fill with rainwater and the birdseed would sprout!
Hmm I'm wondering how to keep the rain out!
I did a post on my blog yesterday about some bookmarks I made for a craft show today. I think you'd really like one of them. (It's tea related.) :)
This is absolutely and positively the most unique idea I have come across. I will copy it and put it up in my patio, away from squirrels. I am so glad to have found you blog, it is fantastic. Many thanks for all the interesting articles and lovely photos. I am going to add your blog to my favorite blogs to visit and will immediately sign up and follow your blog..
Hi Denise,
I love your blog, so very informative. I made a craft from an idea sparked by this post and posted it to my own blog. I couldn't remember where I'd seen the original (so much blog hopping and all) but thanks to Angela, at Tea With Friends, I've been pointed in the right direction to say thanks so much for the inspiration and to give credit where credit is due. I've updated my blog doing just that, and posting a link back to Uniquely Tea. The question does remain... how to keep those pesky squirrels away?
Have a tea-lightful day!
Lisa
