I'm afraid all this South Carolina spring pollen has decided to descend upon me with all fours, making for a rather poor feeling Tea Lover Denise. (Cups of tea made for me by Tall and Handsome are really helping my sore throat, though.) I'm going to rest today, so will leave you with this little funny:

Oooh - I'm so sorry! When we lived on the west coast, I had terrible allergies. That was before I stared drinking tea, though, so I've never tried this remedy for it. Last night I had a little stomach ache, though, and a cup of tea was just the thing!
Denise -
I just saw the coolest "uniquely tea" thing, which I thought you might like. I was watching America's Test Kitchen, Season 7, episode 20 (from the library), and they make spare ribs in the oven by placing the ribs on a rack over 1/4 c. of lapsang souchong leaves to give the ribs a smoky flavor!
Here is a link to the recipe: http://www.recipesecrets.net/forums/recipe-exchange/24609-americas-test-kitchen-rainy-day-oven-barbecued-spareribs.html. I am definitely going to try this!
I'm sure it won't be long and I'll get me yearly spring cold (thanks to the allergies.) I tried to email you to thank you for the parcel and it was returned. Did you receive it?
Not sure what's going on with Yahoo.
Hope you're feeling better soon, Denise!
I hope you feel better very soon.
Love the comic. Wherever did you find it?
Sorry you're feeling under the weather. But if you laughed half as hard at this funny as I did, you'll be feeling better soon. Blessings for a wonderful T&H.
Sorry you're not feeling well. Yesterday we were driving home from church and I pointed out to hubby that you could actually see the clouds of yellow pollen blowing off the pine trees. How unpleasant for all you alergy sufferers. Hope you feel better soon.
Oh, do feel better! One of the worst allergy attacks I ever had was after spending a week in April in Atlanta.
Oh, bless your heart! That was me last week! Love the cartoon. Get well soon!
OK ... you don't have a new post up which makes me think you may still be feeling poorly. Sending a prayer for good health your way!
Thank you everyone for all the nice get well wishes. I'm doing a bit better - time to pull myself up by my bootstraps on just get on with it!
Melanie: What a cool idea about using lapsang souchong leaves to smoke ribs! Thank you. With your permission, I'll share that in a blog post.
Melissa: No, I didn't get the email (TeaLoverDenise@yahoo.com) but am glad to know your parcel arrived - enjoy!
Marilyn: I do a lot of Google searches using different combinations of tea-related words and found that comic somewhere out there in cyberspace!
Again, thank you all!
