Can you believe that Christmas is a mere 3 days away? This recipe for Drop Scones (from "A Tea For All Seasons" by Bruce Richardson) might be just the thing for a quick, easy Christmas Breakfast.
1 and 3/4 cup self-rising flour
2 and 1/2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon cream of tartar
1 cup milk
Sift together flour, sugar, and cream of tartar. In another bowl, whisk together eggs and milk. Pour into flour mixture and combine quickly, making a thick batter.
Oil and preheat a griddle over medium heat. Drop heaping tablespoons of batter on the hot griddle. Cook until batter bubbles completely.
