I've always wanted to make one, and today I finally did ~ my very first Victoria Sandwich. I used Delia Smith's recipe and it turned out quite well. Next time I will use less buttercream (or perhaps splurge with whipped Double Devon Cream) and jam, but Tall and Handsome had no complaints, so it must have been okay!
