This is a nice little book by Steven Goss is filled with beautiful photographs and short but concise text illustrating the progression of shapes and styles of tea (and coffee) cups between the years 1745-1940. Chapter titles are: Early wares, New shapes of the early nineteenth century, pattern numbers, The later nineteenth century, and The Edwardian and Art Deco periods. Great, but basic, introduction to the evolution of tea wares.
