Tea Tour to London - March 2009

There are still a few seats left [EDITED TO UPDATE: only 5 seats remain] on my Tea in London tour next year. This is your chance to experience not only my favorite city in the world, London, but to experience it as it centers around tea.

There will be a full day tea class at The Chesterfield with Jane Pettigrew and it is fascinating! A wonderful buffet lunch and full Afternoon Tea are included, and you will earn the UK Tea Council's Tea MasterClass certification.

We will also be taking a daytrip up to Bedfordshire to Woburn Abbey, the ancestral home of Anna Duchess of Bedford and "birthplace" of the ritual of Afternoon Tea. We will not only tour the house and gardens, but also enjoy a special Afternoon Tea and do some shopping in the nearby village of Woburn.

Other highlights of Tea In London include a unique tea history walk through London which will take us to the places where tea history was made over the past 400 years; Afternoon Tea at The Ritz and several other venues; museum tours based on tea, an entire free day on your own so you can visit the places you want to go - AND MUCH MORE!

Registration deadline for Tea in London is November 15, 2008 - only 2 months away. Visit our website for detailed information and sign-up information. All we require is a deposit - balance is due in two installments, one in January and one in February. This is a one-of-a-kind, very unique tour. There's nothing like it anywhere else.

Tea in London would make a great Christmas present for your favorite tea lover - and yourself!

My best advice - Go! Having enjoyed Denise's Tea Tour to London in 2007, I would highly recommend that you treat yourself to this delightful experience. It is truly a memorable opportunity, and as Denise says 'no other tour' like it. You will meet fabulous people, tour interesting locales, delight in Afternoon Tea as only the English can do it, connect with other tea enthusiasts, and make new friends. All excellent reasons to consider this tour.

I agree completely with the comments of Nancy. I had traveled to London several times, but never with a group of tea enthusiasts like myself. It was a tea lover's dream come true for me!
